"Guilty but know I am forgiven"

I was thinking cause thats what I do best. Well one of my church services came to memory and it was about how we as people seem to only call on God when things are at their worse. We never seem to thank him when things are going great only call upon him when things are bad. We are quickly to ask him "what have I done to deserve this" and never say "thank you for blessing me with such good things" I am so guilty of this and lately have been trying to change my ways and thank him every morning when I wake up and thank him again once I go to sleep reguardless if things are good or bad. The reason why I have began to do this unfortunately is because things have not been great for me lately. My opinion is this was just all according to Gods plan to bring it to my attention and correct it and I have. I am no way perfect and I may slip and forget sometime(giving thanks to God)but trust from now on it will not be on purpose. Once again I know I am guilty of all that I have written, but I know he has forgiven me and if you are also guilty you to can be forgiven. Thanks for reading and God Bless.

"Oldie but Goodie"

This blog was written a couple years ago on another site. I know its a couple years old but it still has some good words of wisdom in it and hopefully it can help whomever reads it. Enjoy!!!

I was sitting back today and I was thinking(like I always do) and I thought about something that I told someone a couple of months ago. We was talking and I told them that "God brings people in your life for a reason, you might not know why but learn something from each and everyone that he does bring into it" I told them that some people may stay in your life longer than others and you may wonder why, but its all a lesson. If that person leaves out of your life their teachings or lessons that god has sent them to teach you are over, but never forget them. The person might have even been the nicest person or just a jerk to you, but trust me, analyze the friendship and I am sure that their will be a lesson learned, and in return it will just make you a stronger person. I just hope that to all the people that read this who know me or knew me learned something. Special thanks to everyone who has came into my life and taught me something I just hope that you learned something from me in return.

"Flywheel"

Eventhough this blog is written on the 23rd of February this experience happened on the 22nd of February. Me and my fiancee had just left a fantastic church service and I thought I would have to work afterwards! Well the great news for me is that I didn't have to go in and me and my fiancee could spend some time together. For some reason I wanted to watch the movie "Flywheel" but this movie is very hard to find but something told me to go to the christian bookstore in barboursville. I went there and suprise!!! They had one copy left of this movie. This movie is really a GREAT movie and it really does have a good message with it. I wont go into detail about what its about because I dont want to spoil it for anyone. This to me was just another way God used his power to deliver a message to me. Like I said I wont go into detail about the movie but it is about a car salesman!!! Wow God is amazing

Introduction

Hello readers thank you for taking the time to read my blog. First, allow me to formally introduce myself. My name is Ernest Anthony Callaham but a lot of people call me "skrappy" I was born in Lynchburg VA and moved to a little town near Beckley WV at the age of six with my father. Graduated from Mt. Hope High school in 2001 and moved to Huntington, WV to begin college at Marshall University and although I never graduated from Marshall, I did have the priviledge and honor to become a member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Inc. Now we going to fast forward to eight years later to 2009 and I am a employee at Dutch Miller Chevrolet/ Hyundai, engaged, and not be a failure but a success on this earth. Eventhough I have not got my college degree(and not saying I won't)this doesn't mean that I can not be any type of success in life. So readers if you read that last sentence I am no way encouraging you to not go to college or drop out, but simply saying that if you have the will and desire you can still be a total success!
In my life I always believed in helping others, treat others the way you wanted to be treated, and most importantly get to know as many people as you can in this lifetime. I stress getting to know as many people as you can because them people you encounter can only help make you a better person. Everyone was put on this earth for a reason(we as people may not know what for) so learn every good quality from each and every one of them. Which in turn may make you a stronger, wiser, better person and this is what this blog is targeted to. Its to give you what I encounter in life maybe you can help me solve them or maybe my experiences may help you learn something!! I mean thats what L.I.F.E is to me. Learning.Inspired.From.Everyone.
